Some of them are scared of the people they represent wanting to debate or discuss policies with them. They equate that with violence for having the audacity to ask an awkward question.

Shows what some of them really think about the people that elected them.

Why would anyone want to kill someone for being obtuse, indifferent or deliberately ignorant?

Angry, yes. Wilfully murderous? That takes a special kind of hatred.

What a bizarre post. Brought this upon themselves? - being threatened with death or being killed because they haven’t answered questions.

Why would any sane person want to kill someone for that and how can you defend that.

Did Jo cox deserve to die then and did she bring it upon herself?

David Amess was murdered after holding a constituency surgery meeting, i.e. answering people’s questions and trying to help people.

Jo Cox was murdered on her way to just such a meeting in her own constituency.

Well seeing the fall out the Galloway win last night Starmer is so fucked Sunak is the one forced to make a statement - laughing my tits off at the Tories here as the reality is in the latest polls Reform UK are only 6 points behind the Tories who are stuck rigid on 20%

Well yea. Most normal people don’t think mps should be getting death threats or ‘killed’, which is what the above poster mentioned. The vast majority dont want any politicians to be attacked.

The above poster actually said they brought this upon themselves, which is ridiculous. You’ve then tried to spin the response to that.

I am angry. I gave examples as to why I'm angry. It isn't spin. Corbyn, Abbott, Sultana and Begum to name a few have all received more abuse than most. Loads of posts on here defending them from the shit they receive I assume?

Loads of articles condemning the abuse they receive in the press I assume?

Yes, upon reflection it was very poorly and clumsily worded. I do think our politicians on all sides, by their words and actions, have brought public life into contempt and that manifests itself in many unappealing ways, including my post, but it could read like I’m excusing such terrible acts, which I’m certainly not, but I do think politicians need to take responsibility for the general antipathy towards them, which is widespread throughout society, not just at the violent margins. My post did not say that, and that was completely down to my shocking wording, so your response and that of @Cheadle_hulmeBlue and @Brewster's millions are all fair comment as the wording definitely rendered what I’d posted to be interpreted as bollocks, so I hold my hands up to that.

No one deserves to die like that.
