People now being infected with water supplies, good to see the government all over this.
she has had a blinder this morning - the Shadow Cabinet is without doubt full of better communicators and people who don't automatically have a blob strop when they are asked a question
They’ve never been in classrooms. Just in a certain section of society’s heads.Good, keep the gimps out of the classroom.

Teenagers could help fill train driver shortage
The government has put forward plans to reduce the age to qualify as a train driver from 20 to 18.www.bbc.com
Teenagers driving trains.
Tories have just bought the young trainspotters vote.
They are always trying to deny peoples applications for benefits and there are very few coaches and they will not be putting any new ones in , it is a con and a soundbite to say people will get individual help , like i say , fourteen yrs and countingThe two are not mutually exclusive.
There's no shortage of applicants. Is there a shortage of people applying to drive trains?
There's no shortage of applicants.
It's more HR influence as most "don't fit the culture."
There's plenty of internal and external applications everytime they come up. They pass the mechanical and psychological tests and are failed on bs like 'You didn't say the right words in the AI video interview."
So we're getting candidates who use company buzzwords to pass the interview who then struggle to complete the training.
Also, because of the competitive salaries some move to other companies that pay more as soon as they pass out. For example WMT drivers jump ship straight to Cross Country who accept them because they are fully qualified and only need traction and route training. They have huge issues with retention because of it.
TOCs have tried that with limited success. Some now have contracted loyalty clauses where they must stay for 3/4 years to recoup their training costs. If the training is free and an applicant jumps ship they should be forced to pay back their costs for training if they jump ship and don't complete say 5 years (Arbitrary figure for an example).
I think we are talking about different things then to be honest. They are always trying to deny peoples applications for benefits and there are very few coaches and they will not be putting any new ones in , it is a con and a soundbite to say people will get individual help , like i say , fourteen yrs and counting

When they refer to the "parasite" in the water I keep thinking they are referring to shareholders. Why is no one attacking the Tories about their water privatisation policy is now giving people the shits literally?
This reminds me of the shortage of airline pilots where there is definitely not a shortage of candidates. Is there a shortage of people applying to drive trains?
even when doing the "easy" interviews he comes across as out of his depth and crass. Starts with that inane laugh - waffles about veterans ( not the question asked ) then basically repeats back to her what she has just told him but because he is saying it then its a good thing.
