He can be deselected by his party and thus force an election,
This is what I thought. The people selected by voting for him, not the party.Unless he faces and loses a criminal proceeding, there is nothing to stop him from staying an MP to the next GE. Even if the Tory Party booted him out, he would still be an MP. Depends on how bare-faced he is.
Why isn't he facing a criminal investigation?Unless he faces and loses a criminal proceeding, there is nothing to stop him from staying an MP to the next GE. Even if the Tory Party booted him out, he would still be an MP. Depends on how bare-faced he is.

Coffey doesn't look like someone who enjoys a pint and a takeaway does she?
DWP staff 'drank into the night' in Therese Coffey's office during lockdown

This might be of interest in regards to deselecting.I see ‘Handsy’ is preparing to ‘brass’ it out, like Johnson. How do they get rid of him? (Handsy). Can he be deselected by his local party? What are the rules? After all he has been voted in by the electorate.
I suppose if they wanted a dildo in there Johnson would have been it.
