The Conservative Party

Unless it’s dumped quite a way out it just goes out and comes back in with the tides.
Things could be worse.... That's what happened to the sewage from Bazelgette's new sewers in London, stored then released with the ebb tide - at least until this happened:

SS Princess Alice carried passengers on a stopping service from Swan Pier, near London Bridge, downstream to Sheerness, Kent, and back. On her homeward journey, at an hour after sunset on 3 September 1878, she passed Tripcock Point and entered Gallions Reach. She took the wrong sailing lane and was hit by Bywell Castle; the point of the collision was the area of the Thames where 75 million imperial gallons (340,000 m3) of London's raw sewage had just been released. Princess Alice broke into three parts and sank quickly; her passengers drowned in the heavily polluted waters.

after he issues this statement Raab retired to his sun lounger - ironically this time the sea WAS closed - he was in the UK and it was full of raw sewage

You see they don't mind if this hits Hartlepool and Heywood - they are just "on loan" - however the "Rev" Steve Baker is shitting himself because he is right in the firing line and this is just something else to hit his constituency.

Imagine how many re-possessions there will be in high Wycombe with all those highly leveraged homes when inflation hits 18% and interest rates are raised to try and combat it - the number of people there using food banks is not his only worry

It seems that the next government sees Labours plan to freeze energy prices to be ‘Short term‘ism’. Trying to work out what actually means when they have no plan whatsoever apart from carry on with individual policies that have continued to fuck the workers over.

No wonder they’ve dropped back from Labour in the polls. What is it, between 8 and 15 points dependant on where you look.

The irony is that Raab used to be a member of the bar and now here he is sticking the boot in.

Just think, the Tories decided to take time when the country is in crisis. Around the world, they must be gobsmacked but, with this government, it is understood.

Truss, your new ’Governor’, gives you nothing whilst placating those who are, pretty much, well off.
