Why is it? - jouno's have all spent months speculating on the demise of Boris. Corbyn was massively unpopular as labour leader so why not speculate that they might move against him. Totally valid question to ask in the same way it will be around Truss and Starmer over the next 12/24 months as we go into the next GE.

Its literally her job to do that.

He was unpopular in the media. His manifesto pledge to democratise the BBC from all political influence got the Tories on the board wound up.Matliss sat next to mock up of him as some sort of Russian spy on her own programme. What would she say now if questioned about it; "I was only obeying orders"?

She might have seen the light now. However there's a new show to promote. Her and Sopel complaining about fake news and bias now is laughable as both facilitated it in their time as Newsnight anchor and US chief reporters at the BBC.
