Our current status as a nation is down to three main things.
1. Leaving the E.U. with a hard brexit.
2. Following the yanks tamely along whichever path they choose to go down.
3. Conservative policy, which has hopefully reached its' nadir in the hands of Truss and Kwarteng.

They had the same choice as the train driver , but they choose to be a nurse knowing the pay rates . Does society value a nurse against other proffesions that pay better probabley not

I don’t know why more doctors and nurses don’t just become professional footballers. They’d have far more money.

Well, until they suffered an injury and had no one able to fix it.

It’s only just started. They knew what they were doing, they just didn’t expect the markets to react the way they did. It’s pure Chicago University Shock Doctrine stuff, disaster capitalism, war in Ukraine, Queens death, bingo, the nation is befuddled, hit them with the big neocon stick tax cuts for the rich using borrowed money, slash and burn and sell off publicly owned entities to claw the money back.
it’s treason simple as that. Cunts.
