Just a gentle reminder that since 2010 our 'defence' force has dropped to lower numbers than we put out in the Napoleonic wars .........they ain't capable of protecting anybody.
What do you think will happen if they leave based on this bit in bold?Have you ever wondered why the U.K. needs to put more into Scotland than it gets out?
The simple answer is that it hasn’t had the infrastructure investment that it has needed to grow to become a net contributor. Nearly every other region of the U.K. is in the same boat because of disproportionate investment into London and the consequent brain drain from around the country to London where there are the best opportunities.
When Scotland has the freedom to do its own thing there’s no reason why ultimately it can’t be as successful as Ireland. It has a similar population and natural resources.
If only successive U.K. governments had spread the investment more fairly there may not have been the same push for independence in Scotland from so many of the population.
I’m not opposed to them deciding and letting them get on with it btw.

We have more than 3 years ago at least and it’s significantly more than Ireland has, hence why they allow us to intercept Russian fighters that enter their airspace.
They’re Scottish Waters but the drilling is funded by the UK government, hence why there would need to be an agreement… that I can’t see going smoothly.Errr no .... you answered the question with ''Scottish Waters;;
