The Conservative Party

He is one of the worst on the **** scale.

If Johnson is 10 on the scale, he registers 9.9 , other Tories are measured as being between 9.8 and 9.7. The average is 9.85 on the **** scale.

All the Tory MPs that had a shred of humanity got thrown out of the party by Johnson.

Bunch of cunts led by a fucking whopper.

Gonna have a tough GE getting his message out defending his lies, his "private IT lessons" and questions over this - and thats just the tip of the iceberg

A new report by @LondonAssembly
contains jaw-dropping detail re the Garden Bridge Trust's signing of a construction contract in face of 22 'significant' risks. No wonder it calls for the powerful@CommonsPACto investigate this £53m@BorisJohnsondebacle

A party of great vested interests, banded together in a formidable confederation; corruption at home, aggression to cover it up abroad; the trickery of tariff juggles, the tyranny of a party machine; sentiment by the bucketful; patriotism by the imperial pint; the open hand at the public exchequer, the open door at the public-house; dear food for the million, cheap labour for the millionaire

Winston Churchill, 13 May 1904, Manchester

I just posted a long answer to the erstwhile @blueinsa to explain my poorly judged post, but the thread went whoosh and there it went for the grace of god.

My post was about frustration, a feeling that each and everyone of us have been mere pawns in the power play of a narcistic liar, we have been used and abused by those in power so he can claim some sort of legitimacy for his actions. Every single one of us, whatever we believe, however we voted, whichever party has our loyalty and support have been reduced to a level of singular unimportance, such is the need for one man to bask in glory. We have been played like a master violinist doing his solo rendition of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and the nation has danced to his tune. He will be heralded by the right wing media as a saviour, the working class will go back to drudgery and think, was it really worth all that.

Taking away the level playing field on workers rights has left the UK open to an ERG ultra neo-liberal dreamland. A place for the Capitalists to thrive and the workers to be traduced. As it ever was, those with Capital win the day, Singapore on Thames looms large on the horizon and all the rights that the working class have fought for will be taken away in the name of progress and a free trade heaven.

This was not the Brexit i wanted, there is no point leaving a Capitalist club to become an even more Capitalist entity unless you have capital. It could have been so much more, it could have been the greatest thing that has happened to our country for decades, instead I just feel ashamed, we have been sold out to the hard right nutters and for what?

We are a capitalist society and will always be one be it under Tory or labour governance.

Once out of the EU and with a left wing labour government in power you will have a hard on for the political landscape, free of the EU and its rules brexit created and so to will the leadership as they go about putting their manifesto in with no interference whatsoever.

You see your post and many like it are based on a life of perpetual Tory rule.

Much like brexit the electorate has a choice and its for Labour to prove they are worthy of a shot.

In fairness fella we do have elections to prevent this if it is the will of the people, just a shame that we have fptp. But if anyone votes for Labour or Tories they only have themselves to blame. A political revolution needs a starting point and for that to happen the status quo need to cross a line. Austerity didn’t do it we need something more severe to wake up the mass of apathy in this country.

I posted the EU breakdown of the talks to date in the Brexit thread but the thread has been pulled (not a huge surprise). Upshot is that the level playing field provisions have not been dumped as the de facto alignment with the EU for NI is going to be easier if we do not diverge too much and makes a much deeper future FTA with the EU more achievable.

I guess the moral of the story is that yes Johnson is a serial liar but sometimes that means he can just as easily rat out his own side.

Still all speculation at the moment but I wouldn’t give up hope just yet :)

Not what's being reported by MPs

You see your post and many like it are based on a life of perpetual Tory rule.
.

That's because my life has been punctuated by permanent Tory and Tory-lite rule. I see no end to the recklessness and wastefulness of neo-liberalism, I just see it getting worse. I get frustrated that the working class have been conned in to believing in the meritocracy sham and I get annoyed that those on the left are judged as SJWs as though that is a bad thing.

I don't know if I posted it on here or elsewhere but I had a theory about Brexit and it was that Cameron and Osborne had come up with a master plan. That plan was not really about Brexit but about destroying the Labour party so that there could be permanent Tory rule. They knew the Tory party was heavily divided on the EU so decided to project those divisions onto the Labour party knowing that historically the Labour divisions had always run as deep as those on the Tory side, but Labour were better at hiding those divisions. By using Brexit as a tool to sow division they could achieve their goal and ultimately the overriding reason for the existence of the Tory party is to be in power for the good of the elite. They knew there plan would be backed by the media and that Labour divisions could be exploited if the leader was targeted and a split opposition would make permanent Tory rule all that much easier to achieve.

Then came the problem, Cameron and Osborne lost the referendum, I don't think for one minute they ever expected that due to their arrogance and inherent self belief, they not only managed to split the Labour Party, they managed to further the divisions in their own party and a rescue plan was needed. The right wing media rode to the Tory rescue with the diversionary attacks on Corbyn using the anti-Semitism issue. An incoherent and ineffectual opposition led to the increase in the demands of the hard right ERG who know knew they held the balance of power and if the Tory desire for permanent power was to be realised they needed the ERG on side. The only positive is that Farage will hopefully become marginalised as he is the poison that has infected the UK with his bile.

As voters we underestimate the ploys of the powerful, we tend to see honesty where there are lies, we see honour where there is rancour and we see good intentions where there are vested interests. We have never been more powerless to act, we are now just pawns in their games and I cannot escape the feeling that every single one of us has been used and abused by those who seek power for themselves and their friends.

I have just turned the radio on and as Johnson's deal falters the spectre of Labour anti-Semitism is all over the news yet again. That just increases my wariness of the motives behind the whole Brexit episode. I am not an anti-semite, I would have voted for Lexit, I just feel conned and I fear for our nation because I do not see any good at all coming out of this whole process.

I am certain that long after I have left this world, historians will record this era as the time that the UK collectively lost its marbles and became a country that was no longer admired for its rationality but for its collective outbreak of mass lunacy.

To be fair you have shared it from a news page, with a big NEWS header at the top ;-)

Had I not mentioned it on here nobody would have commented on here - in stark contrast to Labour MP's leaving after being at odds with their leaders stance - but of course everybody is behind Johnson

That’s fair, the difference in reporting Labour issues and Tory is absolutely night and day.

Tory Bastard in being a total and utter Bastard shocker.
