Fag packet figures I know but here goes. Sunak reckons that cost of living pay increases will cost £38 billion. The truth is when you take money already set aside for pay increases the figure reduces to circa £20 billion. Of this £20 billion approx £6 billion would go back into the coffers as tax. So Sunak’s £38 billion is actually nearer £14 billion ( which is approximately 50% of what Truss n Kwarteng cost us in 6 weeks of Tory mayhem ). More lies from Sunak. They just can’t help themselves. Charlatans.

To be fair to Truss, it took her much less time that 6 weeks to fuck the UK economy up - so even if fucking inept and useless, she certainly can't be accused of dragging her heels.

I’d love to know how all these Army people will be deployed if there’s 100000 ambulance drivers on strike, there is no way they have 10k army drivers, just like in the pandemic it’s bollocks.

All coming home to roost, 12 years of austerity, cuts in publics services and pay; now they want to call in the forces!! Oh, wait, we cut them as well. Let’s mass hire taxis instead. What a joke.

We are short of NHS dentist, doctors, nurses (I could go on but won’t). It takes years to train these people and it has needed a plan over many, many years to recruit, train and retain these staff but we all know that the Tories don’t plan and so we now have the mess we have. Even if they left power today it would take at lease 10 years to sort this mess out and get back to some sort of reasonable staffing levels.
