The reality of the situation is this. Thanks to the withdrawal act, voted in by parliament we leave in the 29th March with a deal or no deal.
Parliament has little time left if they want to change that fact.
That period can be extended though, allowing for a GE or second referendum.
Would you rather May's Brexit or a second referendum?

So what happens then if the ERG push through a vote of no confidence with the opposition and don't get their own person in?She will resign and there will be no GE.

They won’t, it’s a threat to push her into resigning which she will have to do when she loses the meaningful vote by well over 200 votes.

Fixed parliament act tells you we won’t and she will resign allowing the party to have a new leader.
Only a vote of no confidence in the govt lost can end up triggering a GE.

They'll have to rebel if they want to be taken seriously in being against May. Can't see her resigning at this stage.He won’t win it as the DUP will vote with the government and not one Tory MP will rebel.

Edit: 2/3rds vote to call it straight off or majority vote + 14 days through no confidence. The ERG will be left with the choice of facing a GE or crawling back with their tails between their legs.
