Something I’ve noticed lately on here is we certainly have a lot of ‘newer’ posters who seem to be only here to troll threads. Either that or they’re so well off that they love the Tories and what they’re doing to the country.

No amount of intelligence is going to get us out of the shit any time soon… If you think that Labour and their magic money tree coming in will fix the country then I’m afraid that you are sadly mistaken…. I don’t think there is any credible choice for voters in this country as whoever takes over will focus on cross party rivalry and put political gains before what’s best for the country..

I do think its now an exercise in disaster management and timing their least damaging exit

Maybe to avoid the lowest of the lows, but I think a fair bit is to make sure they can pass enough laws and changes that it becomes essentially impossible to undo what has been done.

At the moment, they still have a big loyal majority - only when that starts to fail are they in trouble. They can lose the loyalty of 10-15 and still have 40+ majority.

I’m quite honestly past caring… I used to feel proud of this country but not currently.. the younger generation are a self-obsessed entitled bunch with zero respect and that’s a big issue

We welcomed our first granddaughter into the world on the 12th and I really do worry what sort of country / world she’ll grow up to see

Maybe my age as I’m now in my 60th year but I’m sorry I can’t get out of the UK and leave the shit behind.. We had big plans to move to warmer climbs but SWMBO’s Big C fucked that up… So our focus is on memories now and making good ones is getting harder with so much shit to deal with here…
