1. Calculate how this improvement will be paid for and how much it will cost, given that spending per head on state school students is at 2008 levels, and the system is creaking with a huge shortage of teachers and assistants.
2. If it takes 12 years for 5 Tory PMs to fuck the country over, why should we ever vote for the lying cunts ever again?

The difference with Sunak is that it’s just empty words that he has no intention and no prospect of delivering. In general, Blair made pledges and largely delivered.

There really is no need to explain. The context of the post was that highly paid political commentators saw echoes of Blair too in his desperate pitch for some centre ground.

Maybe there should be a tribute thread to the great man so we can avoid this kind of shit.
