70% of those that arrive here ‘illegally‘ are ultimately accepted by home office processes. The other 30% may appeal or ultimately be deported. Similar would happen if they arrived under a legal process.No, Rascal's "solution" only works if no-one is ever refused asylum, in which case why even bother just say come on in folks. If you have a process and criteria to be met then by definition some people will not be accepted, and so the trafficking issue does not go away. It would be massively reduced though, I grant you that.
