The Conservative Party

Tories should be asking themselves why people have to beg, not persecute them
Simple- it’s because they have made no effort to get themselves a better paid job and they are patently not budgeting properly.
But luckily we have an ideal opportunity to look at someone doing just those very things:
he wants all of the jobs

We could all learn from this wonderful example of someone making great efforts to improve their life.

Are you predicting this on a bias of Corbyn being the messiah?
I have zero idea why you think that. I have stated numerous times on here that Corbyn was too right wing for my liking, but Starmers idiotic treatment of him will cost Labour votes.

The polls are narrowing, Sunak is doing better than expected, the Johnson fiasco will be over and the Tories are the best party in the world at reinventing themselves.

Plus the Tories have the all powerful media onside, the Labour party is uninspiring and the electorate apathetic, the they are all the same narrative suits the Tories. Voter ID hit Labour support more than Tory support and in UK elections incumbency is King. The Lib dems will make gains at the expense of both parties, and whilst the SNP is imploding there is no guarantee of gains for any party.

To an extent as well 50p Lee is right, the nest election will be fought on culture war issues. The Liberal left have no answers to the Tories on those matters, because they rely on identity politics and the real war is the class war being waged against the working class. Labour sadly have no answers and the working class know that.

The polls are narrowing

Occasionally yes, but more often not!

See above post and see if you can come up with a better argument than your rather pithy reply.

I can’t take you seriously when you describe the current polling that predicts a 348 seat Labour majority as the polls narrowing and proof the tories are on the way back.

Also culture wars don’t win elections. we saw that in the US midterms, where almost every trump culture war candidate lost.

Is this one of the most ludicrous lines of argument we’ve seen in this thread for months??

We’re in a cost of living crisis, there’s strikes on the streets every week, people can’t afford heating bills and you think people are going to decide the people waging war on the working class is not the billionaire prime minister of the party that’s presided over 13 years of austerity and cuts, while cashing in on second jobs paying £1500/hour and giving out PPE contracts to their friends, but the opposition.

Deluded didn’t cover it, you’re a fantasist.

Have you actually seen the polls, Labour are trending downwards.

They may influence a minority that decide swing seats.

Have you actually looked at the evidence that the re wall seats are not going to be automatic Labour gains? Those seats are socially conservative.

Get you Mr insulting.

This fantasist will now ask you the ludicrous question, what are Labours answers?

I have answers to it, but the Labour party does not.

It really wouldn’t surprise me if the cunts got back in again.
In ‘97 there was a feeling Labour were going to win it.
At the moment it feels like the Tories are going to lose it.
Massive difference in how that could pan out at next GE.
