The Conservative Party

Victoria Derbyshire calling out the lies

So Tories are making things up are they? Telling a few porkies. - Would that be the Tory party that was led by a man twice sacked for lying?
And did that same leader make up loads of shite about straight bananas and bendy cucumbers and how the EU were going to demand one and ban the other.
It's a party of lying twunts and appeals to those sufficiently stupid to believe total and utter bullshine.

All they have left is lies. They can't provide any evidence their 13 years in power has improved anything, quite the opposite is a simple fact, but yeah, let's scare the public about imaginary limits on 15 minute trips into town and red meat being taxed.

I suffered 20 minutes listening to Jeremy Hunt giving his speech, and every few seconds I was saying 'lie','lie','lie', but the most unfathomable aspect of hearing his bullshit was his cheery demeanour, lapped up by the hard of thinking in front of him. He portrayed a vision of the UK that was prosperous, content, and comfortable with its lot. It was a quite extraordinary refusal to accept the poverty their policies have plunged millions of Britons into, and of course he never mentioned food banks, pensioners dying from hypothermia, or 7.5 million people waiting for NHS treatment.

It' was very odd, and even stranger to think they really do consider themselves worthy of a pat on the back for the state the country is in at the moment.

That's the trouble with multi-millionaire MPs - they never brush shoulders with the common herd, unless it's a photo-op!

They don't believe it. They just have to act like they do to try and stay in power to enrich themselves and their cronies, which is all Tory governments are ever about and have ever been about.

The other day I was looking into getting a UK visa so me and my wife (who's not British) can come back for Xmas. I was amazed when I found that the website asks you to 'provide your documents to our commercial partner.' Even UK visa processing, the actual control of the borders that the Tories pretend to care so much about, has been outsourced to a private company ffs. And not even a British company, it's been outsourced to VFS Global, an Indian company based in Dubai, with residency permits being outsourced to a French company. Meanwhile fees have skyrocketed and service has gone through the floor.

VFS are crap.....cost me a fortune last year as they couldn't process my visa application in time for a trip to India .

As usual they will have been chosen because of the price.

I mean that's par for the course with outsourcing, but I was amazed that even something like visas have been privatised. What next? A private fire brigade and police service?

We are the first generation since the Second World War where living standards have actually dropped. Austerity has not made the U.K. richer as a nation to balance the books, government borrowing hit record levels and is at its highest since 1998. We are taxed to death to fix the massive hole in the public purse, all the while the economy is flatlining because of red tape on businesses. Where is all this money going as you don’t see any improvement in police, the nhs or public services.
