All they have left is lies. They can't provide any evidence their 13 years in power has improved anything, quite the opposite is a simple fact, but yeah, let's scare the public about imaginary limits on 15 minute trips into town and red meat being taxed.
I suffered 20 minutes listening to Jeremy Hunt giving his speech, and every few seconds I was saying 'lie','lie','lie', but the most unfathomable aspect of hearing his bullshit was his cheery demeanour, lapped up by the hard of thinking in front of him. He portrayed a vision of the UK that was prosperous, content, and comfortable with its lot. It was a quite extraordinary refusal to accept the poverty their policies have plunged millions of Britons into, and of course he never mentioned food banks, pensioners dying from hypothermia, or 7.5 million people waiting for NHS treatment.
It' was very odd, and even stranger to think they really do consider themselves worthy of a pat on the back for the state the country is in at the moment.
