Good speech.
My MP spoke thus ...... My MP is a stupid wanker ..... my MP is going to lose his seat
I am not a violent person by any stretch, but I was wondering if we could just ignore the law that says we can’t punch slimy bastards like this in the face.
not entirely sure that the "Labour will take us back to square one" is the winning line Sunak's teenage adviser's think it is
I doubt we'd have made laws to say an unsafe country was really doublesafe.By any objective measure, the country was far better, and far better regarded in 2010.

Odd to think that anyone saying such things now would be called woke, lefty enemies of the British people by this govt. and its client media. You are on the road to anarchy once you start picking and choosing what laws you obey. No responsible government of any colour should break the law.
The following is from a speech from Margaret Thatcher, quoting Churchill.
'Winston Churchill...went on even more fundamentally: “Freedom of speech and of thought and of religion should, of course, prevail. Courts of justice, independent of the executive, unbiased by any party, should administer laws which have received the broad assent of large majorities or are consecrated by time or custom. Here” , he said to his American audience, “are the title deeds of freedom which should lie in every cottage home.” Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to have independent justice by independent judges, freedom to choose your government every four or five years, so that your government is answerable and accountable to the people.'
Also Thatcher: Any country or government which wants to proceed towards tyranny starts to undermine legal rights and undermine the law.
And Thatcher again: Being democratic is not enough, a majority cannot turn what is wrong into right. In order to be considered truly free, countries must also have a deep love of liberty and an abiding respect for the rule of law.
So say the two great Tory Icons of the post-WW2 era.
