Defending Alex Jones over fucking frogs is the sign of a man who has lost perspective. The idea that Alex Jones is derided and mocked because we ‘don’t like his politics’ is breathtakingly stupid and shows an absence of empathy for those that have suffered at the hands of Jones and his ilk. It’s fuck all to do with politics and everything to do with Jones being a vile ****. Capiche?

He's a multi millionaire, several time best selling author whose self help books have been credited for saving tons of lives and seems to have found a new niche as a cultural commentator to go along side his academic career and practice. According to Google, he's currently on a worldwide lecture tour.

What have you ever done? How many people credit you for saving them from suicide?

For the record, Alex Jones was quoting a recently released peer reviewed study that documented how the addition of a chemical to their environment chemically castrated some frogs and they started having sex with other males.

I always think about this moment as important in understanding the stupidity of the world. Almost everything he said was 100% scientifically supported and true and verifiable to people. But he was mocked by people who didn't bother to look at the science because they disagreed with his political views so decided to attempt to change reality.

I see the same thing happening in this thread and everywhere else for years now. One post on the last page is claiming that the Tories are out of touch because on their people said spade instead of shovel. That isn't even a remotely rational opinion any more, its insane flag waving bollocks.

Is this the same Alex Jones that said on his national podcast that Sandy Hook was a hoax and caused further untold grief for the families of those murdered kids? That Alex Jones?

Probably not the best person to reference in passionate defence.
