I presumed you could fill in the blanks yourself from a generalised example to a trend, even with the specific example at the end that literally tells you.
Do you really needs me to spell this out for you any clearer than the original (clear) post, another explanatory post and now you need a third? You need that hand holding?

Yes I've always noticed that I'm a thoughtful and intelligent poster right up until the very moment that I disagree with them politically.

The tipping point is when they convince themselves that their intellect is inherently superior and only a select view can see ‘the truth‘ and then they tumble into Wonderland.

Makes you long for the days when their only recourse was to write letters in green ink to their local paper asserting that the woman who ran the High St. Post office was a Martian.

For the record, Alex Jones was quoting a recently released peer reviewed study that documented how the addition of a chemical to their environment chemically castrated some frogs and they started having sex with other males.

I always think about this moment as important in understanding the stupidity of the world. Almost everything he said was 100% scientifically supported and true and verifiable to people. But he was mocked by people who didn't bother to look at the science because they disagreed with his political views so decided to attempt to change reality.

I see the same thing happening in this thread and everywhere else for years now. One post on the last page is claiming that the Tories are out of touch because on their people said spade instead of shovel. That isn't even a remotely rational opinion any more, its insane flag waving bollocks.

Do you not think Jones gave up the right to be taken seriously years ago, and the fact that he may have said something scientifically correct once is irrelevant because he lost the right for his views to be given any consideration at all. People need to earn the right to be taken seriously by not being lying grifting cunts. The world is full of bellends who spout shite but occasionally say something factual. Why quote one of them to try and prove a point?

The stupidity of much of the world is better demonstrated by the number of people who are prepared to give cunts like Jones, Johnson and Tate any time at all, and even worse vote for them in Johnson’s case.

I'm confused with this idea of making building regs less woke. They want single sex toilets as opposed to unisex toilets - doesn't both mean "one sex"?

Seems an odd priority rather than sorting out building regs to stop people dying in fires.

can you imagine their shock when they realise just about every building in the UK has a gender neutral toilet? Vast majority of those buildings are peoples homes - the Govt are shit scared and running around firing out what they think are radical idea's with a lack of thought about anything

Surely there is all the difference in the world between refusing to engage with despicable opinions and refusing to accept verifiable fact. Using recent events as a template, we can accept or reject the various explanations for why the conservative candidate won the teeside mayor election as our consciences dictate. What is unarguable fact is that the conservative candidate won. I despise Nigel Farage but if he had presented that fact then, like it or not (and subject to fact checking) I would have to accept it.

The frog thing appears to be peer reviewed accepted science. The fact that someone with despicable opinions is weaponising that doesn’t change the science. You can dismiss the conclusions all you like but the science underpinning it remains unless and until disproven by further research of equal or greater academic rigour and peer reviewed to an equal or greater extent.

The fact that it’s boris Johnson who tells you the sun is shining doesn’t mean, without more, that you can conclude that it’s raining. You’d be well advised to check for yourself, but facts are facts.
