UK exits recession with fastest growth in two years

The economy grew by a stronger than expected 0.6% in the first three months of the year.

…even in the context of what it might mean for an incoming Labour Government and their plans. Especially given how quick they are to say how they can’t do owt due to the state of the economy.

They can and no doubt will, but will the public have the patience needed to recover from where the Tories vacate

I’d love for our economy to outperform. I couldn’t care who is in power to make that happen. So fingers crossed, you’re sadly right about public patience though.

The Tories have fucked the economy to levels post WW2.

Labour came in and literally rebuilt the country.

They will need at least two terms to show any real difference. I doubt this current version will be that radical.

Everything is fucked from austerity , i said public services and us as a people are poorer and in more debt than before , dont think i said the economy is fucked from austerity

The tories can do no wrong for you and you posted the growth figures as something to behold because it is clutching at straws , imo
