Some positive news. Surprised this hasn’t been posted/discussed already…

UK exits recession with fastest growth in two years

The economy grew by a stronger than expected 0.6% in the first three months of the year.

…even in the context of what it might mean for an incoming Labour Government and their plans. Especially given how quick they are to say how they can’t do owt due to the state of the economy.

Are the Tories expecting us to be grateful that having managed the economy to rock bottom that we now have an improvement that still leaves us brassica?

Everything is fucked from austerity , i said public services and us as a people are poorer and in more debt than before , dont think i said the economy is fucked from austerity

The tories can do no wrong for you and you posted the growth figures as something to behold because it is clutching at straws , imo

Hence why I asked it as a question. Anyroad asked and answered.

The tories do plenty wrong for me. Like adding to our already high debt by paying a chunk towards peoples leccy bills.

People have an impression that because I’ve voted Tory previously that I’m prone to shooting the starving peasants as they wander on to my estate looking to snare rabbits and then I boil and eat their recently orphaned children. When only half of that is true.

I’m economically to the right and socially to the left. No one party aligns.
