In your opinion, which I respect btw. That is an absurd comparison. Absolutely absurd.

She is sorry she "upset" people. That's inferring they can't take constructive criticism and the fault is with them, not her.
Bullying, from someone senior at work, whether intentional or not is bullying.
Maybe, but she hasn't said she is sorry for bullying. The wording is deliberate.Maybe she's inferring that she's sorry?
I suppose the answer to that is within the report - has anybody commenting actually read it?At what point will this government draw a line and say that something is unacceptable? How can they let bullying go unpunished?

Well that’s reassuring. Glad the country is in safe hands. As long as they like, next 4 years and an 80 seat majority says so.

Clearly!No idea
What amuses me no end is the notion that someone on the Govt front bench has not met 'the high standards' expected of a minister. What fuckin' high standards? It seems that yer can do WTF yer want, say WTF yer want, apologise that someone might have been upset, and then just carry on. Had she badmouthed Boris's intended then she would have been sacked.Absolutely, she was sorry "that my behaviour in the past has upset people". Disgraceful but, let’s face it, not a surprise. Johnson condoning bullying. The nasty party rules.
But it won't matter 'cos by the time the election comes along they will have filled enough pockets to walk into highly paid employment in the private sector. At whatever point they think their actions are putting reelection in jeopardy.
When they don't have an 80 seat majority. At what point will this government draw a line and say that something is unacceptable?
She did something wrong, it got investigated, she apologised and we all move on - just sounds like normal life tbh.The report has not been published. What has been published is highlights with a conclusion. Johnson stated the conclusion was wrong, hence the author of the report has resigned.
So if Harold Shipman had just said sorry, all good, off you trot sunshine? (and don't worry, I'm not comparing the two, that would be deeply unfair on Shipman)She did something wrong, it got investigated, she apologised and we all move on - just sounds like normal life tbh.
Shipman never murdered any of my grandparents, so it's difficult to comment. So if Harold Shipman had just said sorry, all good, off you trot sunshine? (and don't worry, I'm not comparing the two, that would be deeply unfair on Shipman)
