about 10 years ago we had a shocking night/day here - driving down the dual carriageway from Swans Corner and a garden shed tumbled across the road in front of me......always wondered who's shed it was.

Many years ago a mate of mine drove from Manchester to Leeds in a blizzard.. he reckoned he was the last person across the 62 before it was closed. That night on the news there was a report of a door from a Police Range Rover being blown off. I always had this mental picture of a sheep farmer in spring finding a Police Range Rover door against a dry stone wall when the snow melted in March wondering where the fuck that came from !
 
The Tories have gone all fascista quicker than I thought.
- restricting journalist's access to Govt
- trying to nobble the BBC and Channel 4
- inventing new Orwellian terminology for Brexit
- Jamaican 50 deportations ( halted by the Supreme Court at least in some cases)
- unelected officials like Cummings running the show ( reportedly Carrie Symonds getting involved as well now)
Is that green tree still their official logo? ( you know the one call me Dave introduced in the days of the green Tories,hug a hoodie and the 'big society').
Perhaps they should replace it with the swastika.

Looks like they may have ignored that ruling. A Trumpian move.
 
£35-£45 million he's apparently claimed. Seems a little low, but maybe it's from now, and excluding costs to date?
Apparently he's upset about the holding company, and has slagged them off.

And he's going to appoint a minister to oversee a railway line being built! Outstanding. There can surely only be one candidate... step forward Chris Grayling!
