The Conservative Party

If the EU is so good why don’t they stay there, instead of risking their lives to cross the Channel?

Because:

They speak English or

Have family here or

Have Community here.

Or are seeking asylum in a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the country they're trying to escape from.

Unlike what the Tory press are telling you .... they're not coming here for benefits because the UK has the lowest welfare , sickness benefits and state pensions in Europe (and the 'civilised' world tbh)

So today there is the possibility of a motion to progress the legal requirement for defibrillators to be installed in schools and sports centres . (I cant believe we're even debating this). 12 kids a week die of heart attacks every week.

It'll be interesting to see if this motion progresses and how many Tories oppose it going forward (no doubt because of cost)

Don’t think it has any impact on the veracity of their claims. The man was asked a question which he could only ever answer yes to but it really proves nothing about the inner workings of the palace.
It does, we either believe that guy who works in the Palace or we believe Meghan who suggested the Palace didn’t want to make Archie a Prince because of his ethnicity.

Given the fact it’s been proven the 2nd son of the Prince of Wales’s kids wouldn’t be Prince or princesses anyway, the palace “insider” is more believable than the American actress.

And we’ve had 11 years of unnecessary austerity imposed on us too.
The good old days where we caused refugee crisis every other week, privatised the NHS more than any other government and sleep walked into a financial crisis.

But we let net 200,000-300,000 immigrants into the country, without it being in the manifesto people voted for, without a proper integration plan or a plan to build infrastructure to support the growth so it’s all good baby.

Bring back Blair!

You do if you’re an either/ or type of person but things tend to be more complex.

In fairness to her if I understood the interview correctly the title of prince and skin colour were raised separately but I can see how one could connect them to a single soundbite.

She clearly didn't nor did Harry it seems have a grasp of the legitimacy about the title of prince and when its offered and the skin colour remark was pretty much playing into Oprah's woke agenda and the fact she is a money making machine at all costs.

Neither come across as the sharpest cues in the rack and while I personally don't care either way their popularity in both the UK and the US appears to heading south.

if their desire to settle in California in their mansion that has a big carbon footprint and go green and keep out the media to raise a family was their intention which the cynic in me was a pure publicity stunt remembering Canada wasn't up to speed for them they have a funny way of going about it.

The rules for ''succession'' were changed in 2013 (implemented in 2015 because legislation had to be enacted in many Commonwealth countries) . There was no chance of that Harrys kids (or the other four children allegedly fathered by Prince Charles )would ever be sovereign.

It was actually George V I think who tried to make the royal family a little smaller by restricting titles.

Harry and Meghan must have known this but still played the race card.

I thought the main issue was that according to George V's rules, only down to grandchildren of the monarch became HRH/Prince. Obviously back then, the idea that there would be great-grandchildren was not considered. Under those rules, Harry and William are Princes.

The Queen stepped in to ensure that William's kids were also automatically HRH, as that is the main line of succession. I don't think this was a matter of law, just Royal Family policy.

Boris' tax plans aren't going down well. I still can't see Labour ever winning in their current form but without Brexit to cling onto the Tories are sunk.
