Isn’t the important question whether or not this is a freak occurrence and a one off by one incompetent employee, rather than a systematic issue?

I must say from my own ideological position... whatever that is these days... I am very uncomfortable with 3rd party businesses being responsible for this sort of stuff. It’s not for the government to give this shit to private enterprise to take care of.

However my question does still stand regarding this particular case?

And whilst I am all for feeding hungry kids (obviously, who isn’t), at some point these parents to need to take some responsibility themselves.

I know it’s not the kids fault and that’s why we should of course give them support, I just feel some rely on hand outs for their entire lifetime.

My mother in law is 87 and has been told another 3 weeks for her first jab!!! Stanley Johnson was due his second last week.

I'd be shocked if there were no connection to the Tory Party.

Their brazen corruption is in plain sight for all to see but there is a significant portion of the public including some on here who don't care.

Do you think it maybe a case of your mother in law is unlucky, rather than Johnson get preferential treatment?

It’s not that people don’t care, it’s that we don’t believe every conspiracy posted by people on the internet, like Stanley Johnson getting preferential treatment, when he’s just had what 2 million other people in his age group have had and their being zero evidence he was pushed to the front of any queue.

I doubt it's 2 million over 80s - Hancock yesterday quoted something under 50%, and there are only 3.6M at most according to the govt plan.

What is obviously happening is that things are being spun out in what looks to be a haphazard manner, with no timetable laid out for action. If there is no explanation forthcoming, it is inevitable that people are going to look at some getting two jabs before bases are even open for a first in others, and wonder what is going on.

2.6 million have had their jabs now, presuming 600k are health professionals and some of those where it’s life and death for definite if they don’t, I don’t think we’re far off 2million at all.

If it is around 50%, that’s 1.8 million.

Regardless, it’s a huge number and Stanley didn’t exactly get his done first out of that lot.

Even if it’s 40% of over 80’s, he’s only getting what a significant amount of people have got.

In my opinion this is just people that don’t like the Tories, getting upset about something that just isn’t a thing.

If he was 75 and got it now, I’d understand... but he’s literally in the group they are doing and has had one, that’s what should happen!

Been following this over social media and needless to say it should be a national scandal. It won't be though, because working class people have turned into Tories. It will get brushed under the carpet, those poor bastards will be told not to have kids unless they can feed them and then some bollocks will come out about Corbyn and the Cons will reach 40% in the polls. It's all so utterly depressing.
