The Conservative Party

Fabricant's hair is even more alarming than normal!

I wish I'd come up with this (it's from a twitter parody account) asking for sympathy for Sunak:

He could lose his job. They are in public housing. She has been hit by a massive tax demand. They suffer anti-social neighbours, who have been partying all through lockdown. He applied to Rees-Mogg for (brexit) benefits, but didn't get any.

Ukraine has

Ukraine has nothing to do with the Prime Minister of our country imposing laws on the electorate then breaking the law then go on to lie about breaking the law, it is you who needs to get some perspective
It was said with irony and I took it that way, or the Tash is really Jacob Rees Mogg, deep deep cover and I claim my £10

Looked like he'd just come back from a holiday to Chernobyl.

He's defending Johnson by claiming Johnson and his staff were working 12-18 hour days together trying to secure the vaccine so why shouldn't they socialize together afterwards and have a drink or two

Yes, "it's okay to break the law because they work together" is an extreme interpretation of the concept "no".

Largely irrelevant what anyone thinks or excuses if the police have found him guilty of breaking the rules.

Anyone else seen the Michael Fabricant interview on The BBC?

Absolute carcrash TV
Claiming that teachers, doctors and nurses met up regularly at the end of the working day for a little drink etc ! These fuckers in power are the Absolute fucking scum of the earth .
Tories also now claiming we are at war so it’s not the time for a leadership change , pity nobody told Chamberlain back in 1940.

If there was any collusion surely the details of who was issued fines would just have stayed quiet or they’d not have fined him.

I’d think the ongoing press for a month before next PMQ will do more damage than PMQ tomorrow anyway - even if it drops off the front pages in a week it will be back as soon as PMQ resumes. He won’t resign I can’t see - but I suspect he will be ousted at some point, Ukraine probably buys him some time but maybe it doesn’t; the tories need to register their disgust and leaving him in post doesn’t do that. There won’t be an early election (because the tories will want to show they are still capable of governing with morality). If I was Starmer I’d probably want him to stay given the liability he is - but for those same reasons the tories will look to remove him before an election in 2024 and give the new incumbent time to put clear water between themselves and Johnson’s leadership.

What a mess.
Pretty much what this fella said ... Unless you are Roger Gale and I claim my 5 pounds which you can claim back on expenses.
I forget which day we are on with the Johnson out hashtag but the reality is we will only see the back off him when it is politically convenient for the Tories.

This FPN only relates to the June 19 2020 gathering. According to Sky's Beth Rigby BoJo is linked to another five events the Met is investigating, so could there be more FPNs to come?

Newsflash:
Crazed author Nadine Dorries to announce that Sky is to be sold off because a journalist is being beastly to her adored and bloated cosplay leader.

(well, at least 50% likely, I'd say)

They would and hopefully they would install a fit and proper PM and Cabinet to run this once great country.

Easier said than done. Senior Tories; I can only think of Ben Wallace as someone who isn’t entirely tarred with the Johnson brush. Further down I like James Heappey and Douglas Ross maybe add Shaun Bailey to the mix.

I used to be such a big fan of an impartial, fair BBC but tonight R4 PM had a Johnson excuser and then David Lammy fitted in right at the end.

We have to throw this lot out. Our system doesn’t allow it and that is wrong. A joint Labour/Lib Dem + anyone else but Tory manifesto for the next election must see them out and PR brought in so that we get the Parliament we need, representing the whole of the electorate. Perhaps then, when people see that their vote counts, more people will vote in a fair election.
