There are many serious downsides to this shambles, but the silver lining is watching the Tory party tear itself apart (hopefully terminal) amidst a riot of fear, hate, blood-letting and back-biting because the factions cannot agree who should replace someone who they all agree needs to be replaced.
They have landed themselves with the figurehead for failure, the culmination of Tory sleaze, lies, hypocrisy, incompetence, and sneering superciliousness, it sits blinking in the No 10 bunker and it’s leeching poison into every corner of that vile organisation and they have no idea what to do about it.
I love it.

No, the next leader needs to have a massive majority in order to still be an MP after the election, so Sunak or Hancock. And better to have a tax dodger than another marriage wrecker, so Sunak.Petition to bring back Johnson hits 10,000 signatures in two days .......they wouldn't be so stupid would they ?

Paralysis would be good. At least they couldn't keep making mistakes.Year and a half from now. Kiet starmer v truss and all her fuckups?
It's not going to happen is it, conservatives know that. They have to get rid.
Meanwhile the country is paralysed, and had been for the past year.
Agree but if you were a tory MP now would you take on the top job or even a cabinet post?Year and a half from now. Kiet starmer v truss and all her fuckups?

Sadds for Prez.As an alternative to Tory austerity, what do folk feel about this manifesto:
- regain European citizenship and the right to study, work and live across the European Union
- have lower energy prices and security of supply by increasing and diversifying our electricity generating capacity, making better, greener use of abundant natural energy resources
- have a better, fairer working life, including improved access to flexible working, greater job security through strengthened workplace rights and, if you are a young person, the same minimum wage as everybody else
- escape an economic model that concentrates wealth in a small proportion of the country while producing inequality, low investment, and low productivity
- retain free movement
- benefit directly from investments from the New Investment Fund, with an investment of up to £20 billion in major infrastructure, including investment in more energy-efficient homes, greener transport, better digital and mobile connectivity, and more affordable housing
- take part in new ways for communities to own and steer the economy, including through direct stakes in local developments
- live in a country where decisions about how we use our assets, talents and resources reflect our values and democratic choices, allowing us to develop the kind of inclusive consensus-driven economic policies that serve other European countries so well
It’s a bit of a fucked up scenario for Tory MP’s.Agree but if you were a tory MP now would you take on the top job or even a cabinet post?
Part of me thinks it’ll be funny as fuck, may as well laugh whilst the world burnsBoris surely can’t come back, can he?
There's this lovely bridge just around the corner from my house...What do they do?
We can’t get them to repair our bridges, never mind yours! There's this lovely bridge just around the corner from my house...
Of course.Agree but if you were a tory MP now would you take on the top job or even a cabinet post?
If I was advising them. I'd get LT to resign. Stitch up a process where MPs vote on a leader. But agree a GE for next may. That way they have 6 months or so to get some shit together. They would lose but at least they are in control and would not lose as much as if they tried to hang on for the full term. The risk if they try to brass it out is that the implode and lose a confidence vote. A snap election would kill them. It’s a bit of a fucked up scenario for Tory MP’s.
She surely cannot continue, but no one will want a top job and they can’t change again or it would guarantee a general election, in which they’d all lose their seats, even the top brass…
They do nothing and pressure builds to call a general election and they inevitably get obliterated in 2024.
What do they do?
I didn’t write that mate.Sadds for Prez.
Wasn't repairing it I had in mind...We can’t get them to repair our bridges, never mind yours!
