A sports psychologist interviewed on the radio said he knew Ali had a drug problem 3-4 years ago and was surprised the club ie Spurs were not aware and had they tried to keep it quiet .He was quickly shut down by Twatterface. The guy said the signs were clear for all to see and he had dealt with addiction in football for 20 odd years

Spurs may have been aware he had issues as his team mates spoke to him at times. There is one thing being aware he had issues and was struggling but another to know the trauma behind it and exactly how bad the issues were as he's said he wouldnt talk to people.

Its hard to help someone when you dont know the root cause of the problem and the person is unwilling to accept help.

Dele was sexually abused as a kid and got involved in drugs before his age was in double figures. That would mess anyone up.
