It cannot be constructive dismissal because he would have to have resigned on the basis that his employers made his working life impossible. As far as I know he was sacked so he cannot sue for CD. Rumours in the media won't wash. He was sacked when the statement was released and he managed them v Everton.

What did the united statement actually say? Did it mention or suggest sacking/dismissal?
