The issue with it is how do justify giving Silva a stand named after him but not Aguero and Kompany. I think a statue of the three is the play.

We own most of the roads around the ground now don’t we? What about the Silva Way or something on the way to the ground? Silva Close? Silva Crescent??

That's worth considering .... Alan Shearer has a road named after him in Blackburn apparently .... and I think he's got a statue up at Newcastle too!

I've always said we should have a statue of Silva, kompany and aguero together at the entrance to the stadium, but positioned in such a way that visiting sides have to walk under the statue to enter the stadium. Firstly it's our respect to our legends and secondly it's making every player bow when they enter the stadium. Our version of 'this is klanfield'

Would love this. Like a Holywood Boulevard job but with statues outside the ground. These 4 deserve it not to mention a few from further back in our history. I once called Vinny a Rolls Royce of a CB years back at work and got laughed at, his parting strike against Leicester if captured in a statue would be my preference so we don't forget what he could also do with the ball at his feet. For Yaya, a freeze frame of him striding forward showing his immense presence. Silva, that volley pass for Dzeko in the 6-1 and Aguero, the shirt off celebration vs QPR. Come on city, pull the finger out and get it done. Unveiling all for David's testimonial once it comes.
