The day is here!

I'm a child of the 60's and grew up watching City win things.

I was having a think today, and it's an odd feeling that we could be champions today.

All the shit and garbage we have gone through over the years, and we have seen some absolute crap over the years, just seems to have melted away.

Yeah, it's an odd feeling that we could be the best team in the land, in all the world.

I never thought I would see this day, in all honesty. Kinda strange, but nice as well.

Come on you blues.

Went bed at 11, cant sleep up now at 1 in the morning, its going to be one long truly fanastic day ......please god.

Gonna be hard to sleep tonight that's for sure. Might have to get up and go for a long walk up the mountain around dawn. Should we really be feeling this tense? We have a brilliant team who have just come through 2 of the toughest games possible with flying colours. We should be brimming with confidence not fearing the unlikely. Tomorrow my friends I believe (Typical city) will be confined to the history books forever!

We'll be fine lads I'm positive!
Nervous is a good thing and it means we all care.
The lads will all be nervous too (I'd be worried if they weren't) those nerves will disappear as the first whistle blows (ours may not) but we WILL win the league tomorrow!
The great players we have will see to that on the pitch and we will see to it in the stands, in the pubs and clubs and in front of our tellys!
We deserve this and it's going to happen Blues!!! ...BELIEVE!!!!! and do all you can to raise whatever roof you're under! CTID.

I completly side ways man, just came back from the pub. tried to numb that last nerve that is weary of the qpr threat all thee other nerves are nicely weathered and ready to celebrate. My
bladder has gone paer shaped don't know if its nerves or just genral wear and tear,

Come on city I piss blue for you, yabadadoo!

The whiskys coming out cos my nerves are shredded, I got stomach cramp hairs on my neck are up and my eyes feel like I just had a pill with a smiley face on!
Never in 25 years as a blue have I been so sick before a game! Relegation battles were always taken on the chin with relative ease.
Gillingham was easy as I had done a double shift to get the day off to go down and last year was calm because I was in the eye of a storm.
But fu## me this is just excrutiating I have not slept well all week and tomorrow is gonna take forever to arrive!
It's like christmas eve for a 5 year old and I dunno if I got the Millenium falcon model or soap on a rope for a present!

Too true, its gonna be a long night
I have tried all my insomnia cures. 1) drink 2) watch porn 3) smoke a joint (this just sent my nerves into overdrive) 4) drink if all else fails watch shawshank redemption for the umptienth time morgan freemans voice could put a crack head to sleep

Not sleeping at all so ive got the radio on to try and occupy my mind. I dont know who the absolute clowns are on Talk Sport at this hour but they are actually so delusional to be banging on that United have scored 8 once this season already so anything is possible. Im actually contemplating throwing the radio out the window. Please please please someone help me calm my nerves

Yep, another sleepless night! Nerves on a monster roller-coaster ride yet somehow am strangly confident tomorrow(15hrs time) will be the happiest day in my blue life.
Shit, gonna watch 'Fisher King'. Hope its crap so it sends me to sleep!
Nite blues, sweet dreams

Am so tired/ excited/ nervous etc I think I'm tripping. Can't work out if its the film or me thats fucked up, really weired.
Trying to count sheep now.

Compared to the run up to the Stretford and Newcastle games I feel very calm.

It reminds me of the cup final last year when I wasn't worried at all as I knew City would do it, whereas for the semi I was extremely nervous.

i would say i agree with this but i would say i felt the same for the cup final once i was in my seat about 15 minutes from kick off until the final whistle. But if you sit and think about this game and the day itself too much trust me those nerves will come back because this isn't just a cup this is now the biggest prize in English football and it can only be topped by the champions league

COME ON CITY! DO IT FOR EVERY GENUINE FOOTBALL FAN ON THE PLANET!
