to joolsbikini- FREE TIBET.as a scouse blue, people ask why i come on BM, its threads like this where you debate the future demise of a pub then transcend into a rant from a pseudo dictator on pints and litres then back to the pubs again, i love bluemoon !!!! ps andy when we catch up for a beer mines a 2.7 litre of guinness in a concave glass

With every box of cornflakes....! :)

After reading 10 pages of what a 4x4 weighs/ to drink drive or not.....i'll go back to the o/p...
Mary d's has gone shite over the last couple of years, normally pay £5 to park, went to the poznan/arsenal games in a 8 seater mini-bus & got told it would be £10 to park, after disputing this was told it would be £8, after more disputes was told by mary d's security man?? to pay up or move it, which I couldn't do as I was then blocked in so had to pay, went into the bar got a pint of coke (as i was being a good lad) & a bottle of bulmers & was charged £5.80 (joke i know) went back & told the missus this is the last time i will enter mary d's. After reading the comments on here we will probably be frequenting the eastlands bar from now on, sounds like...proper beer....proper d.j ( not starting anti utd songs every 2 mins ) even though i do hate them, but most of all PROPER BLUES not the 16/17 year olds who think they are something after 2 pints of shandy...........R.I.P.MARY D'S.

pps The kerb weight of a brand new standard specification Range Rover (a decent 4x4?) is 2480kg, so I wasn't too far out was I?

Says 3 tonne in my handbook....! :)

I can never read mine when I'm in it as I am usually pissed.

REclaim the Beehive and move it brick by brick to the East side of town (idealy where Mary D's is now (either that or the end of Joe Mercer Way), but until then I suppose the Townley will have to do.

If you want a 99 with a flake in it, Mary D's is the place to go.

Used to go in the Townley, then we gave Wastelands a try/chance. Get's a bit packed and could do with the windows opening, but apart from that it's not bad and the beer actually tastes like beer.

99 anyone?
