Yeah, fucking shite, I go in there but not by choice...it's just my mates go in there and if I had my own way, I'd go in the Townley.

The United songs in there just get on my fucking tits.

When you look at what will be on offer in 3-4 years then its happy times again IMO

City Sq is the testbed for things to come.

I for one would prefer a nice bistro with a steak sandwich and some lagers in summer and then a nice mince and dumplings and a pint of OP in winter ;-)

City Sq is because we ran into obsticles trying to get "City Street" passed.

Quickly thrown together as a contingency to make sure we got something on place for this season.

Eastlands Bar!!!

Really well finished, and good atmosphere. Good City theme running all the way through it. And as oppose to Mary D's, it doesn't feel like you're sat in a canteen!

The DJ is a good laugh too.

I wouldn't quote me mate, but i was told it was around planning permission and running out of time to get the deisgn up to spec by the start of this season.

So we went with this 'sqaure' instead, smaller scale, much less infrastructure and it can also be ripped up pretty easily by the looks of it.

The only reason i go in is because you can leave 5 mins before the kick off and still not miss anything apart from that it is getting boring.
