The Derby at the Swamp in April

With the Arsenal v Spurs game being played at 5.30pm on the Saturday and passing without incident and Merseyside Police's failure to stop the Everton v Liverpool game taking place at the same time. If the Merseyside derby passes without significant issue I would bet Sky will want the game at 5.30 on Saturday.

I can't see how GMP could really object - are they going to say they can't police the our game when the Met and Merseyside have policed similar fixtures. It's a reputational issue for them.

Reputation?

Merseyside police are still trying to stop the match kicking off at 5:30pm: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/merseyside-derby-police-launch-legal-5091155" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... al-5091155</a>

The Met don't give a fuck about the Tottenham vs Arsenal match as it's at 12:45pm, plus as I understand it, them two clubs don't have the same level of idiots who want to get pissed and fight and batter the wife attitude when they get home.

Theres no way they will change the kick off time for Saturday.

Arsenal v Spurs has already been played this season at 1730.

I know, Merseyside police are just doing it so that if it does turn nasty, they can say they did everything they could to prevent it.

That reminds me, I need to reserve my ticket with my old man for this one. What a pleasure it was to watch us take them to pieces last season whilst I was sat among their support.

I've got the companies 2 season tickets for this, finally been allowed them after 5 years working there. Think it's due to last season reminded my boss before the game that as the third goes in he'll wish he'd let me have them.

Obviously worried it'll happen again so I'm going with my lad, be hard to keep quiet but will do my best.
