For the past few years I've been wondering how the fuck we could get a blue City shirt on that Denis Law statue on the morning of the Derby. I thought of sky blue paint at first but then that's like defacing it and a shirt would be more acceptable. I've even walked around it at night on the way home from work scouting it out but the place is littered with security. It's gotta be done.

I'll get slaughtered for this but I made a thread the other week suggesting do we put out a weaker team in the Derby and save ourselves for the semi-final. Yes I know we all want to beat them for pride and all that goes with it but winning the FA Cup is far far more important than one derby game when they have already wrapped up the title. I never ever thought I would say this but for the first time ever I don't think beating them is the biggest game of our season. Take off your blue tinted specs and look at is as a neutral. Those fuckers will be out to injure us or goad us into red cards, they're a sly bunch of bastards and i'd show them no respect and put out a weak eleven, show them the FA Cup is more important to us. I also think a weaker City team could take those fuckers anyhow.

What are you on about? We still have to ensure a top four finish and preferably finish second.A win at the swamp would do wonders for our morale. Winning breeds confidence.

Yes I know winning breeds confidence and if you read my post I think we can still beat them with an under strength team. And if we happened to play a second 11 and lost then I hardly doubt it would effect the squad and the better players anyway. And as for 4th place with home games to Reading, Norwich and West Ham to come if were seriously worrying about not getting results there then we might as well give up now. It's only an opinion and I'll be surprised if it's not one Mancini considers.

My thoughts entirely....even a point at the Swamp with a weakened team would take the piss. As posted in another thread if the Chelsea/Sunland and Spuds/Blue Dippers results went our way I would definitely rest/bench our influential players.
Maybe even spring a surprise and play a couple of the prospects.

I think we should leave certain players out of the derby, those cunts will not want us winning the cup and with a 15 point lead will boot fuck out of our players knowing the very unlikely event of a red card at home.

so for me we leave yaya, kun, vinny and david at home.

They might be carnts but they wouldn't sink that low.
It's more their fans who really care about us winning the FA Cup, the players have their league winners medals coming to them, they couldn't give two shits.
