I think they announce the appointments for the coming week on a Monday afternoon, but I could be wrong.

Yes he's the one. Always seemed to get on with players and he gave as good as he got. He'd probably not be able to ref with the style he used to these days as he seemed to have a lot of common sense and use it.

I hate theories that theres an agenda but if webb gets the nod I have a feeling he will win united the title

Actually I'm not that worried about Webb. He's not a bad ref when he's on one of his good days and I think he's more likely to try to stay squeaky clean given the enormity of the match.
My biggest concern would be Clattenberg. He's inconsistent and an attention seeker, plus he's done us a few times over the years. He was 4th official yesterday and I think there's some sort of arrangement that officials don't get the same team 2 matches in a row.
I also worry that they dropped Lee Mason yesterday to save him for the derby.
