The Detectives: Fighting Organised Crime

Just watching the first ep now.
Said earlier in the thread, this is brilliant produced but grim as fuck.

The contrast of the drone shots of an expanding, glittering Manchester with the underbelly most don't want to know about (and completely understandable) is stark.

Suicide. Poor lad. Just a hard working man
Everywhere I've looked it just says cause of death not disclosed, has it been officially confirmed somewhere?
I did read that on the day he'd been out with his mates and they went to a park, that was it, nothing else.

Crying shame whatever the cause, showed immense bravery, firstly by trying to quell the violence, was only 17y/o on that day. Then to twice go through 2hr stints in the witness box, they should have some sort of lasting tribute to him in Rochdale town centre, statue, plaque, brave brave lad.

Skinny's dad, considering he was at the head of it all he got off lightly, I wonder if HMRC will go after him for the unpaid taxes, he definitely deserves more jug.

The statements, obituary etc all mention mental health etc so I think its a bit of reading between the lines. Just shows that mental health is now joke, he was such and strong, brave person to go through what he did and still face those bastards in court.

A brilliant tv show in a grim kind of way. Would love to know more about the bent cop and what really happened there but I guess for legal reasons we wont find out anymore.

Quick question was this the follow up episodes to the two aired in 2021 or is there still an episode from that series somewhere that cant be shown?
