Isn't this thread just a fishing trip? From the OP through most if not all contributions? Frankly, far from being a productive discussion it's pretty much been the usual popularity contest with the usual result. A bit of an eye sore on the front page of the UK's most quoted fans forum if you ask me.

Depends how much of it you have read I guess, but there has been some good discussion contained within it, in places.

I don't particularly think it was a "fishing trip", I think it was a genuine attempt at some discussion about where the forum is heading, but then I don't agree that it has deteriorated either, just got bigger, but if it opens some discussion about how the forum works I don't see how it can cause a problem.

There are numerous discussions on here telling the manager how to manage, players how to play, coaches how to coach, and there's nothing more certain than these will not have any effect on Manchester City, they are just opinions of people who think they know everything there is to know about football. That is what the forum is for, and its a shame that quite a few post "twat" at an opinion, instead of debating the opinions civilly, but mostly they are incapable of actually having a debate.

A discussion on how the forum works just might have an effect on how the forum works, so decide for yourself which discussion is actually more useful.

Sometimes a well placed "twat" is all that's needed. The same turgid negativity repeated ad infinitum offers considerably less to a forum than a well placed "cock" or "shitbag". It's more apparent in these post-cabalien salad days that the three stooges did nothing but sail on seas of self-validationary nonsense with opinions which have been proved to be the flotsam and jetsam we said they were at the time. Without his backslapping buddies around to glorify his anti-city rhetoric the OP has become a sad ghost of his former vainglorious self, but rather that take the hit and admit that his anti-Mancini stance was wrong he rather blames the demise of the forum. Totally agree with this. Saying no one respects your view point and people giving you grief is fine, the problem is much of what he and his mates post seems to be designed to get a rise out of people.

The OP just comes across as a bit childish, toys out of pram temper tantrum I have been on here for ages, loads of posts I`m not happy how can everything be changed so I can be happy again and have my own way.
