The dying NASA scientist videos

Think it is fake though, if they can read thoughts then why would they need to share technology?

In return for their weapons technology we must teach them the premise behind the game Twister and help them master Scrabble.

I watched the 2nd video (which is the video below) and he talks about how the aliens implant these negative thoughts, and they multiply themselves. This got me thinking, Bluemoon must be under attack by these damn alien bastards on matchdays! I mean, that does explain all of the negativity eh?

I cannot, under any rational circumstances, believe that we are the only life in the Universe. Statistically, cosmologically, biologically, it is an absurd idea.

I am willing to wager that we will one day find that not only are we not the only ones alive in the Universe, but that the Universe is positively teeming with all different forms of life. I would even be heavily surprised if we are the only form of life within our own Solar System, let alone our own galaxy, or the other hundreds of billions of galaxies out there.

The ingredients for life are abundant in space, and to think that we are the only ones who have managed to arrange matter in this way is absurdly arrogant.

However, this doesn't mean that I believe that any intelligent life has ever contacted us.

This is what we look like from near the edge of our Solar System. We're a lonely needle in the biggest haystack in existence. Finding us is near improbable until we venture out and start to make some effort ourselves.

I think that far more advanced species are observing us from afar and are indirectly experimenting with humans in many ways , instead of directly making contact.I think that they are doing this so as to understand and study the human nature and intelligence to decide whether it is worthwhile to make direct contact and transfer advanced technology and other ideas to us in order to help us develop faster.I also believe that some of the major world governments are aware of this.

Bit of a strange idea to make his voice weird but say his name.

Edit: just seen someone else said the same. My bad.

I would very much like to believe that, but until I see any evidence of this, it's just a dream.

One thing that applies to your argument in a common sense way, is the current development of humanity. We are trapped between a Type 0 and a Type 1 species, and as far as I can see, this has got to be the most dangerous time for a species. We will either visit the stars or blow ourselves up in some short sighted show of cock waving. We have the technology to do both of them currently, which way we will go though is still up in the air.

Once we progress to a Type 1 species with almost costless energy, our limitations will be bounded only by our imagination.

Whether or not there is some alien race, silently waiting for us to fall off of our pendulum into either enlightenment or destruction, I'm not sure, but the evidence has to be there to support such a claim, and unfortunately, it isn't currently.
