The dying NASA scientist videos

Haha fake as fuk

That said, I think anyone who doesn't believe that there aren't other lifeforms knocking about is very narrow minded to the point of being thick as fuck. There's no chance of there being anything like that is shown in that vid on mars though

I don't believe for a second that we've been visited by aliens. I do believe they're out there somewhere, in space. It'd be folly to believe otherwise once you've realised just how vast space actually is.
They could come one day. But I doubt it'll be able to be kept secret if they did come. I hope they come in peace though. Earth is an easy target because of innocent radiation of energy into space. We're the baby bird cheeping in the unprotected tree branch of the solar system.

Well Fat El Hombre - to say someone is thick for choosing to believe that there are only one set of circumstances where life would exist is as narrow minded as saying the opposite.

If we were 1% closer to the sun we would burn, 1% further away we would fereeze. Is it not beyond the realms of belief that there is only one set of these perfect conditions in the Universe? Otherwise you are saying the universe is repeated elsewhere which if it isnt in the area we have seen what makes people so sure it will be further a field.

Some things exist only in certain places on earth - why cant earth only occur in one place in the universe?

For humans , the conditions you describe are perfect and if it were 1% more either way , humans wouldnt exist . But this doesnt mean that there arent other types of beings who adapt and thrive in different conditions

Not just humans, all life forms (that we know about)

All i am saying that if you can call someone narrow minded for not believing in something for which there is no proof, well you can call them narrow minded for not believing that this world we are in is due to a one off perfect set of circumstances

Your percentages are slight off there. It'd take a 5%-10% shift either way to cause enough of an effect.

When you think there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the beaches in all the world. To think that only 1 of those stars harbours a planet that can sustain life seems pretty far fetched to me.

It can seem far fetched yes. But also, it could be true. You cannot say that there IS life form out there as you have no proof - is it not narrow minded to say there definately is and there is no chance that we are one offs?

If you think there are humans roaming about somewhere else wearing Nike Air max and going to football matches I say thats far fetched

I can't say life does exist, no, but I do think it very likely.

I don't believe in a parallel universe either.
