The Eddie McGoldrick paradox

I only remember that John Burridge played for us when that stat about him being the oldest PL player is wheeled out.
He got me slapped by a "Foxy Lady".

After a reserve match at filbert street. I'm waiting in the reception. Budgie comes out. The big bastard literally takes up the whole sofa holding his gloves. The Leicester City cheerleaders still in their outfits walks past. He say's "Nice arse", one looks at me with daggers. Tells me to fuck off and I get a slap round the chops. I can still see him laughing about it now.

Derek Parlane. A little bit before my time, to judge him as a player, but he was sort of my first childhood era, based on a book article describing how to volley a ball like he was a kind of guru of the art.

So many players of that era get mentioned, but even on here, his name rarely crops up.
Parlane was a bit like the Negredo of his era, great for 6mths then tailed off. Decent signing on a free at the time

Bill Williams

Signed from Stockport, did nothing at City, then went back where he came from.
Was it W
Kakhaber Tskhadadze
Mikhail Kavelashvili
Murtaz Shelia
Tskhdadze scored a couple at the start of 98/9 before picking up a bad injury never to be seen in lazer blue again...Shelia also bagged a couple of headers iirc before picking up an injury. Those 2 may have proved decent signings without the injuries, although the years may be clouding my memory. Dont remember Kavelashvilli doing much apart from debut derby goal.

Think Alan ball signed Martin Phillips saying he would be the 1st 10 million pound player turned out he was worth about £10

David Seaman. Brilliant keeper back in the day, but way past his best when he signed for us. Still odd to think he played for City!
