The Eddie McGoldrick paradox

Thanks, I am right in thinking he was quite a big name in football of that time?

Just had a look on wiki and 20 goals in 48 appearances. Pretty impressive.
He was a legend at Rangers.
Classy centre forward in his day.
A great partnership with Derek Johnstone.

He had a good bit of success with Rangers and played for Scotland so would have been a fairly big name in Scottish football. Moved to Leeds who were in a bit of a mess early 80s and it didnt really work out. Arrived with Tomle and Mcnab in summer '83 after we'd been relegated and were skint.
His lad has a couple of barber shops in town

Just about to post that name.

I'll add a few more:

Egil Ostenstad
Neil Heaney
Scott Hiley
Kare Ingbrigsten
Carl Shutt
Danny Granville
Chris Greenacre
Danny Allsop

But I can't believe we ever had old bacon-face's saviour Mark Robins at the club.

Robins was on the decline when he joined us and Granville was disappointing.

Yasser Hussein. From when I was around 13 and would use the MEN website for city transfer rumours and news. Used to buzz off any signing and was convinced Pearce had found a gem (No idea why). Think he played one game that we lost against Doncaster in the Caring Cup. Also had a shirt with Dabo on the backs
