The end of Dzeko

In the past I've stood up for the lad both at the match and on this forum.
I've tried to highlight that he's probably not used to squad rotation due to his past successes and that if he is a "confidence player" that this could have knocked him a little.
I've attempted to tell others fans that he was developing his all-round game as a result at being deployed in an unfamiliar system of play.
I've even used the "WE NEED WINGERS" tactic on a couple of occasions.
I've honestly really tried to keep positive about the lad.......

.....but the sad fact is his heads gone now at City. I doubt anyone would disagree with me when I say that he hasn't fitted in to this new footballing challenge, to be honest he's looked out of his depth on too many occasions, and he's not really shown us on enough occasions that he's the player to build this "EXPENSIVE WINGERS" style of play around. I wish the kid all the good luck in the world for his future, but I hope we sell him this summer whilst some manager will still pay a hefty fee for him, letting both him and us move on.

I think it's over for him with us; funny I could still remember the excitement we had when we first signed him, and him making that assist for Yaya.

Somewhat, somehow, I'm convinced Tevez's staying.

I really hope Dzeko leaves to Arsenal and scores 4 goals in every game he playes against City!

Dzeko deserves better treatment than this!
I'm sorry but how the fuck can someone who has openly said he hopes City get humped by Dzeko + his super new team Arsenal not get some kind of ban?

I understand the need for opposition fans to add a certain culture to the forum but this is beginning to rip the piss. If i wanted to see folk saying shit like that i'd join an Arsenal forum!

In terms of Dzeko, he's a donkey :) add to the fact he looked like he couldn't be arsed - don't give two fucks how unhappy he is, that's bullshit and if Mario had the same body language we'd have the Balotelli thread reaching 200 pages in a matter of minutes.

shame really, it's what could have been IMO.

not enough delivery played in front of him and he has to be playing week in, week out to get the best out of him.

he's certainly not wank, just not happened for him at city. doesn't suit our style of play. always said that he'd score a bagful if he played for the scum, due to their style

seasons not over yet but if it is good bye,

then thanks edin.

Thought he would be immense for City but it's not worked out either down to not liking a rotation system and that's destroyed his confidence
Or his style not suiting the premier league he seems he struggles at times with the speed of the league and has struggled with not having a lot of time on the ball before he is pressed by an opposing player as the German league seems to me played at a slower pace and players get more time on the ball
No doubt when he's hot he's deadly and it's a shame that it's not worked for him at City like it should and his goal ratio is good but for me he's too hit and miss for a team fighting for the title that's going to hurt us
And maybe he's is unhappy with his role at City but that's no excuse for his display tonight he wasn't interested in doing any donkey work like chasing players down and when he did get a chance to shoot he looked like Bambi on ice I would rather have Mancini put a youngster on the bench who is atleast is going to give 100% when he got on the pitch than Edin who didn't look like he was even trying to give his all for the team and let him self down tonight
We are without Mario for 3 games due to him being stupid and yes Mario can be lazy and do stupid things but most of that is down to being young and immature and hopefully Mancini's threat of selling him will finally make him grow up a bit and realise what he's got to lose by doing those stupid things
We really needed Edin to step up and prove his doubters wrong by grabbing his chance while we are short up top due to Marios ban
Maybe Mancini was wrong by playing Tevez in front of Dzeko but I think Mancini knew Edin's
head wasn't right and he was proved right by very lacklustre display

I think there's a massive conflict here.

Bosnian fans, I welcome you, don't get me wrong. But you are dealing with by and large, English people who have had nowhere near the strife and torment you have had, despite what off topic tells you.

Edin to Bosnia, is a hero. To most Mancs, he's a footballer. Footballers come and go.

Please don't take this as an offensive message. Edin has at times been top class. It will be shown at a club, be that City or another.

Hope we get a good price for him. It's not worked out. The annoying thing is that when he leaves we have to put up with the Dzeko mob on here every other week linking his goals on youtube.

Dzeko proved tonight that he's a Donkey and looked clumsy every time he got the ball, get rid and get some money back. He is not suited to our game with his crap first touch.
you proved that you are donkey and ignorant **** by writing this. If you watched the game you should know that Mancini took out Kun, Silva, and Tevez and then Dzeko was up front by himself. What the fuck could you expected from him to do??? Oh, wait, Zab was also brought as a support, he should've definitely feed Dzeko for the whole 15 minutes he spent on the pitch.

Grow the fuck up.
