I always found just property extortionate in London. Everything else was a little more expensive but London weighting made it affordable.Metrolink is pretty much the same price.
Finsbury Park to Seven Sisters £4
Piccadilly to Etihad £3.50
Shocking.
I was in Manor Park in December and pints were maybe £4.20. I pay £3.70 here.

Comparisons are fair. If London or Liverpool can do this then why can’t Manchester.

There's a point where the straw breaks every camel's back...All very valid points Lavinda, I guess eventually we all find a reason(s) to stop attending, for me it will be any further increases in matchday ticket prices, which is inevitable I guess.

As people now need to park further away, will that make getting out of the official car parks quicker? It’ll take slightly longer for traffic to build up and will be slightly further from the stadium.

Indeed there is. And we'll lose a lot of regulars at the end of the season due to parking restrictions and increased ticket prices. But as long as the seats are taken by half and half scarf wearing tourists the club don't care, sadly.There's a point where the straw breaks every camel's back...

The police shut Ashton New Road and Alan Touring Way until the crowds have disbursed so I can't see it making much difference.As people now need to park further away, will that make getting out of the official car parks quicker? No doubt next season, there will be an Express Lane option for an extra £20 from the car parks.
