Yes it’s mostly working well
The arena owners and MCC agreed the parking restrictions, with the arena paying for its implementation and operation back in 2021. It was a done deal long before they consulted on it in 2023. As CFG are one of the main two investors in the arena it was never up for discussion. Typical transparency from Leese.

We at The Resurrection School open for match day parking. We face the Etihad Stadium, so not much of a walk at all (pictures are on our group page)
We open 2 hours before, and close 1 hour after the final whistle. £10 cash on arrival. First come first served basis.

The roads do get closed for a little while, but by the time you get back to your car, it shouldn't be much longer to wait

Most of us blue disabled badge holders went over the 3 hour time limit. I was fully expecting a parking ticket fair play to them today not endorsing it.

National news is a bit of a stretch there are no end of resident parking restrictions around the country!
