The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

This bump has just reminded me, there was a new car park at one of the units on Lord St North which was charging a fiver..... crappy hand written sign and two teenagers stood with it. So take it's validity with a pinch of salt etc.

you can get in the club car park for £12. Getting away afterwards not as bad as it used to be.
We use it for every match now (we also drive from Scotland).

Cheers. Assumed you'd wait ages in the car park but if it's not too bad then it's something else worth considering I suppose!

Car is safe. You are on Joe Mercer way in seconds. Of the two pre pay car parks the Blue is closer and has less jams once you are out than the Green. The last few times it has taken me 30 mins to get back on to the M60 at Blackley. That’s pretty good.

If i'm driving down from Scotland I put the car in the free park/ride at Radcliffe tram station then tram in and out. Saves the hassle of waiting after the game. Walk back to Manchester Victoria after game for tram back to Radcliffe.

If doing the park and ride, is Ladywell not an easier option? That way it's just a tram straight to/from the car and a bit less messing about? Only asking as that's one of the options I thought of if not parking close by/at the stadium?

initially I did park and drive from Ashton. Trip to Etihad was fine, trip back nightmare. We binned it after my wife was injured in a crush on the tram.

Sorry to hear that. Done the trip back to Piccadilly a few times on the tram back and it's always rammed, maybe not a great idea for the little one.
