The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

Well whisper it quietly in here but again I got home in record time. Street parking being pushed further away from the ground must be making a impact with less clogging up on the surrounding streets.
 
What I’ve noticed coming in on the tram, even when I’m on the last minute, is there are always plenty of free parking places at New Islington car park.

Seems a bit odd to me when parking seems to be at such a premium near the ground.

Presumably there’s a reason people don’t want to use it?

Haha, no I’ve used it in the past, but there’s unlikely to be much space there in future after you’ve flagged it up on here ;-)
 
Can someone help please?

Is the restricted parking just for match days?

I used to park on Clayton Lane on match days.

If I wanted to go to the CFA or Coop Live can I still park around there if it’s not a game day?
 
Hi folks, driving down for the Southampton game. First time in years I've drove down, so realise the parking situation has changed somewhat.

Any advice of free street parking no more than roughly 20-25min walk from stadium or is that a thing of the past? If so, any car parks nearby which don't rip you off completely? Remember parking in one just off Alan Turing Way near Lord North St, used to be a fiver but don't know if that's still the case?

Will be arriving around mid day. Thanks.

several pay car parks on briscoe lane, 10/15 min walk up - £10 in still
