The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

It’s definitely in the zone that will go restricted (unless they change their minds). We normally park round there but it was awful getting away on Saturday.

Looks like work won’t start until next year now, according to this …

The scheme is planned to start in early 2024, and all affected properties will hear from us about how to apply for permits (including drop-in sessions for people who are not online) once we have an exact start date.

Click on the link at the top to see New St included in the streets affected.

Can’t see it mentioned mate. I park in the area I’ve marked with a yellow circle. Usually in Hadfields as it’s only £5.

Had no problem myself getting away on Saturday.

Loads of signs saying Sign not in use. I imagine those with morph into restriction signs when they come into force.

Hopefully not until the arena opens, if at all.

Haven’t seen them mate but TBF I usually don’t bother with on street parking but plenty do. It’s largely industrial so not sure of the argument for restrictions.

I agree, but they are stopping them, which just adds to the mayhem they’ll cause.

The council have probably been sponsored by NCP.

There has been nothing done on the roads north east of the ground, it will takes weeks/months to do the lot, they just haven't got round to it yet. Some of the road needs significant remediation before lines can be painted and signs put up.

These are the streets affected near Hadfields (blue means permit holders only) but the car parks will be unaffected of course, I assumed you were parking on the street …

Is all along Ashton New Road -and the roads off it- affected yet? It’s in the scheme but doesn’t appear to have started yet

I drove through that estate. There are lots of Sign not in use up from The Townley, down to Metcombe Way and then towards ANR.
