I agree with the sentiment but reckon we could just go strong in the second leg to get through

To be honest, the FA, the EFL, Premier League, Sky and BT need to come together and work out a solution for what’s best overall for football in this country, because we’re seeing good players struggling with fatigue and injuries and managers having to make so many changes that the quality of football is dropping and the things that used to make English football so marketable, goals, are becoming hard to come by for a lot of clubs. It’s time to stop this ridiculous Christmas schedule, time to bin the EFL cup and give players a chance to get through a season playing their best throughout
And unfortunately the answer to that is obvious - ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££The answer is obvious - reduce the PL to 18 teams.
Well you should be more pissed off, as a fan, that the players of your club were clearly knackered and forced to take part in an overly crammed and completely unnecessary TV spectacle on a Sunday morning after playing only a few days before, and two of our best players have sustained significant injuries in a game that could and should have been played midweek at a sensible time which allows athletes to rest enough before they do it againAs a fan, there’s nothing better than a shit load of football on during the Christmas period. I’ll be well pissed off if they ever put a stop to it.

No, piss everyone else off by buying some quality reinforcements in Jan and blow the dirty fuckers away, whilst achieving an historic quadruple.

NopeSeeing the tough schedule and dirty opponents taking their toll on our players, should we down-prioritise the FA Cup totally, considering we still have a good chance at a domestic double and maybe even a better shout than ever at the CL title? Wouldn’t mind seeing a total 2nd string formation against Burnley personally.
I disagree with that. This was Palace's cup final because it was on a Sunday morning live on TV and wedged between a shed load of fixtures in which we have clearly started to look jaded. As a result it was giddy hour and as a result of too many games in a fortnight everyone has been saying we can be got at by fouling us. What should happen is a game of football, what happened is a hyped up circus of 'Get City' proportions. It doesnt happen in any other sport, because it cant. Players cant play every few days with this regularity without something going wrong, everyone knows it and that is why it isnt commonplace in other sports. It’s been like that for years, the Christmas fixtures are great. The two injuries weren’t caused by fatigued either, so that’s a non-argument.
