Think it was an episode in Play for the Day in the 70's when a man had a glass jar thing on his head with rats inside it.
Talk of the school at the time.
Seeing Ray Winstone in the Gary Oldman film (based on his own upbringing apparently) Nil By Mouth, still disturbs me now, thinking about it.
A very very difficult watch.
I genuinely don’t think I will watch it again.I’ve said this before on similar threads; it’s an absolute powerhouse of a film and one of my favourites, yet I’ve only seen it the once. Never had the fortitude to watch it again.
So, so creepy. Donald Sutherland brilliant.
It felt like a line was crossed over in that movie in terms of not just shocking the viewer but mocking the victims. Not seen it for while, so don’t know if I watched it now it would affect me, but I remember jumping a lot during Wolf Creek
The most terrifying scene was Sting's "dancing".Seeing A GP Lambretta on Quadrophenia. The film was set in the early 60's yet the GP range didn't come out until 68/69. I'm still not right from seeing that.
I only watched it once, a long time ago, didn’t want to watch it again. I think you’re right. It felt like a line was crossed over in that movie in terms of not just shocking the viewer but mocking the victims.
I gave up half way through that out of pure disgust that anyone would make it in the way they did. As far as I knew it was based on a true story (maybe I was wrong though and over reacted?).
The Harpies and skelingtons too...Absolutely terrified me as a kid.

A Spanish short horror film about being trapped in a telephone box from 1972.
It's available on YouTube now we're safe and there's no telephone boxes anymore!
Rang the local takeaway.Someone was trapped in a telephone box for over 50 years!
How did they survive?
